A green birthday card

Today is St Patrick's Day. I decided to make a card so I thought I'd make a green one. I'm also wearing green.  I'm not Irish, but my surname is!

Here is my card.

I got a pack of the base cardstock at Officeworks this week for $1. It had 25 pieces. Bargain.

I chose to use an offcut piece of white cardstock that I had painted with a variety of green paints. I wanted it to have a border. I've used a Martha Stewart punch to achieve that.

Do you remember the company K&Co? I used to really like their stuff. That leaf die-cut is one of theirs.

This is for this month's Stick It Down sketch challenge.

Thanks for looking.

  3. Perfect card for St. Patrick's Day! I'm not irish either but my late mother in law always claimed to have a little Irish blood in her. Bless her soul.

  4. I love bargains too like that. I love the swirl accent you used.
