Thinking of You - set of 3 cards

Hello,
Hope you are all well and coping.

I've created a set of 3 cards today. The base is kraft and I've used only 6 elements on each card.

I know some friends who will appreciated these cards at this time.

I'm putting these into the CC83 challenge at Soul Scrappers.

Stay sane.

Copying a tag by the Scrappy Doctor

Here is a really fun challenge for you from Unstampabelles.

#99 AprilCreative Souls or Being Creative -  when everything is about art! Creating it, looking at it, admiring it, buying it; selling it; enjoying it..........

TWIST -  name a creative person you admire and CAS a piece of their work, without using stamps of course.

Do you love it? I did.

I've admired the work of Natalie Elphinstone for years.  Here is a link to her blog Onescrappydoctor. I also admire that she is an OB/GYN and a mother but she still finds time to consistently be creative.

I follow her on Instagram too. A very recently saw a post she did about gift tags that she makes. The one she made was quite different from my usual style but I liked it and thought I would like to try it. It's great way to use up scraps too.

Here's her insta post.

I gathered together some similar bits and pieces from my stash.

Here is my version.

I liked the way that she went over the edge of her tag so I have done that too.  I will give this a go again I think.

Join in the challenge. You can make whatever you like. Just be sure in your post to reference the work that you copied and remember not to use stamps.

Cupcake card

Hey there.

Crafting keeping you sane as well?

I decided to play along with the Stick It Down card sketch again this month. A nice, easy one.

I did have to move the sentiment down to accommodate my rather large cupcake die-cut piece though.

Sakura Sakura

Hello people,

I hope you are all happy and safe.

I've solved the CSI file #317 today.

No photo description available.

This is what I used from the case file.

The scene: Black and candy pink in the middle surrounded by clusters of flowers. Product cles: Older papers that match the colours, older floral papers, metal elements (brads). Design clues: Add flowers and I created two fans by folding Japanese paper (movement).

Here is my layout.

Thanks for looking.

A sporting team layout

April's challenge at Archiscraps is to be inspired by this picture.

Image may contain: outdoor

Here is my layout that I created.

I have a similar colour scheme. Plus I have mounted the photo on an orange square of patterned paper which I turned to show four little orange pyramids.

The Perth Scorchers are our local Big Bash League cricket team. Our family are big fans and Paul and Damon are members.  We love to go to matches. Their branding is heat/flames. It is hot here in Perth, and in Eygpt.

You can interpret the pic any way you like, just tell us how you were inspired. Get busy.

Girls only

I love doing music layouts.  This is a photo I snapped of myself (and many others) on the risers on rehearsal night at my Chorus.  I love being part of a group of women creating something special together.

This month's challenge at ARTastic is a girls only one.  My Chorus is made up of only women. I like having that outlet as my family is dominated by boys.

The inspiration picture is:

John Maitland with "Down to the Ocean".

Quite gorgeous I'm sure you will agree.

I wonder what you can create with this theme. I can't wait to see.
