A green birthday card

Today is St Patrick's Day. I decided to make a card so I thought I'd make a green one. I'm also wearing green.  I'm not Irish, but my surname is!

Here is my card.

I got a pack of the base cardstock at Officeworks this week for $1. It had 25 pieces. Bargain.

I chose to use an offcut piece of white cardstock that I had painted with a variety of green paints. I wanted it to have a border. I've used a Martha Stewart punch to achieve that.

Do you remember the company K&Co? I used to really like their stuff. That leaf die-cut is one of theirs.

This is for this month's Stick It Down sketch challenge.

Thanks for looking.

March ARTastic scrapbook page

Hey, it's March!  A really fun and quirky challenge is ready for you at ARTastic this month.  See the design inspiration below. You'll see from my example that mushrooms are not at all necessary.

I chose to go with bright colours in a variety of colours and a multitude of patterns. I also liked the border around every side so I added that to my page.

Go to the ARTastic fb page to add  your entry.

Happy creating.

Archi-scraps' March challenge

It is March already.  Here is the Archiscraps challenge. You have to add scallops and texture.

Very busy, yes. What do you pick out to inspire you? I've picked up some of the colours, added a "window", used a stencil with diamonds using nuvo drops. Plus, I've added scallops everywhere.

I created this card, decorated the inside a little also.

Enter this challenge on Archi-scraps facebook page.  Have fun creating.
