Photo frame for my son

Hello readers,

Today I have an off the page item for you to see.

My son wanted a photo frame for a special photo of his.  He did some voluntary work for Teach, Learn, Grow and had a photo to keep to remember the group he was in.

I surprised him by going beyond his expectations. He loved it.

This is my design piece for Archiscraps challenge this month.  The insp pic is:

Castello di Sammezzano
This castle looks sedate on the outside but on the inside? It’s an explosion of color and texture. The 16th century masterpiece of architecture and design sat abandoned in Tuscany, Italy, for decades.

Here is your stimulus picture for March and the challenge is use chevrons and the colour blue.

Head over to Archiscraps to join the fun.  There's a prize of some items from Spotlight to win.

Cover page scrapbook layout

I've always thought that cover pages need not have a photo on them. Having said that, I would have liked one of me on this, I just didn't have one.

What do you think? Did it need a photo? I don't think so. It has all the info you need, plus the big black tiara says a lot.

This layout is for the first Unstampabelles challenge of 2018. You'll be thrilled to know that "Anything Goes" for this one.  Also, you should use something new in your stash.  Both the tiara and the 2015 card are new. Also the pink stars as a matter of fact. They were the last item I added.

In case you are a new visitor, I sing in a female barbershop Chorus called A Cappella West. At my very first Convention we won the competition.

Birthday card using rhinestones and patterned paper

Hello there.

Here is a challenge for you. I'm on the Design Team at Archiscraps. The challenge this month is to be inspired by the picture below and use lots of rhinestones and/or bling.

Such a unique Church!

Here is my card example. I gave this to my Nan on the last day of last year for her 93rd birthday.

Hope you join in. Ribbons are the prize this month, thanks to Craft Queen.
