Here is a little card I just made. I call it Summer Fun.

Had a successful day.
Bit of shopping for tonight's dinner.
The boys painted some of their Warhammer 40K stuff for quite a large portion of the day, then they had a battle.  Well behaved children.
Took them to the first day of vacation swimming and it was great. They liked their Teachers and I got to catch up with some friends.
Also, did a great page on my birthday.

I've kind of recovered from my great disappointment of last night. Still not happy. They could have at the very least apologised. Harrumph.  There, that's done.

Looking at getting some artificial turf for the back yard. Think I've found one to go ahead with. Boy, is it pricey! Always having to do something to the house. Money pit is right.

Got no scrapbooking done today. Looked at it a couple of times as I walked past, but no work achieved.

Made a nice dinner, Stifatho, which is a Greek beef stew. Boys cleaned up their plates good and well so they liked it a lot.

Channel 10

Very unhappy right now. I've been waiting for a very long time to watch Rick Springfield on Californication and Channel 10 had screening issues. Couldn't see anything, no signal for a long time. Then they put on an entirely different episode (maybe next week's?) and guess what, there  is NO RICK SPRINGFIELD in that one.

Progress Report

Here we are, day 6 of the new year.  have completed 10 scrapbook pages so far this year already. On a mission.
It's hot here in Western Australia. There have been bushfires aplenty already, some deliberately lit. Losers who do that make my head boil. A bushfire is so frightening and damaging we should all be doing our utmost to prevent them, not create them.
Looking at getting artificial turf for our back yard. Grass is not successful there and I want some greenery. The sand pit creates a sore and sorry sight and the black feet create an issue when people want to return inside.

Happy New Year everyone. I hope that 2010 is a special year for all of us. Fingers crossed.
