Rainbow stencil cards - set of 3

Hello friends,

Here is a set of 3 cards I have made for Soul Scrappers' CC92 challenge, to make a thank you card.

I started with a gorgeous stencil and some new pastel markers I bought. I cut the paper up into 3 and made 3 separate cards with it. I picked out the teal colour to add accents.

Have a great day.

Male birthday cards x 2

I discovered today that I didn't have any suitable male birthday cards in my stash.  Today is my hubby's birthday. I had put aside a card to give him from me and expected my sons would get him one themselves.  But, we have been in Covid lockdown all week and they couldn't go get him one.

I've made these two very nice cards. I like the strong colour theme. I always think simple cards are best for guys.

This card is for Soul Scrappers' challenge TTT67 challenge. I chose the left vertical line.

This one is for Soul's CC91 challenge. Add a banner/present/cake or balloons.

Have a great day.

I recently completed a Broome holiday album.

Here is a beach page from it.

Archiscraps - February challenge

Oh my gosh. How cool would it be to spend some time in this incredible treehouse?

This is February's inspiration at Archiscraps.

Layer your items at angles. (If a layout, layer the photos at angles, if a card layer the papers at angles.)
Image may contain: house, sky, tree, outdoor and nature

Here is what I did.

This is a page I did of a visit Paul and I took to the Willie Creek Pearl Farm.

Get on with it and create!

ARTastic February challenge

February is upon us. How is your 2021 going?

Time for a new challenge at ARTastic.

Check out this fun painting by Sarah Beetson called Purple Flamingos.

Here is my layout inspired by it.

I  had this gorgeous patterned paper by Kaisercraft that I knew would be perfect so I started with that.

I noticed that there were little spots of different sizes all over the piece.  I had a Kaisercraft 12x12 stencil called Faded Dots so I used some magenta and white paints to dry brush all over the patterened paper.

Then I double matted the photos with white vellum and black cardstock.  I felt they needed this treatment in order to stand out from the busy background.

Lastly I added embellishments.  Can you see the little hand crocheted white and purple flowers that my Mum made for me?

Check out what the other Designers did and maybe enter at ARTastic's facebook page here.

Thanks for looking.
