Blue and white card

Unstampabelles' challenge

MayWings and Wind - what do they mean? Angels, birds, spirits, seasons ie blowing away the cobwebs; the feeling of flying; seabreeze; kites; boats, bird wings..........in Australia it is also Mother's Day so it may work as a Mother's Day theme.......being carried in the wings of a mother's love?

TWIST : must be predominantly White and Blue

I've had this big blue butterfly die-cut in my stash forever.  I was pleased to be able to use it.
The background paper is white with blue flocked stripes.
I used two more die-cut circle shapes, two flowers, and a pearl and some rhinestones to complete this card.

I love blue and white together. It is a lovely colour combo.

Scrapping Gourmet Week 1

Very exciting day. It's International Scrapbooking Day 2020.

I never normally scrap all day but today I just have to spend a few hours at my craft table.

An exciting competition started yesterday too.

The first challenge, naturally is an amuse bouche.

Seriously, how elegant is this image and the challenge is fun too.

Here is my take on it.

I used my very favourite colour as my background. This paper has been in my stash for a while. It's called Fine Lacquered Paper in Peacock by artsy.licious.  It's embossed and I thought it just perfect as a base for this layout.

I've used a ScrapMatts chipboard called Diamond Mesh, which I won from doing a CSI challenge in March.  I cut a piece off and then used some inks to spray it various times over a piece of light pink paper. I then used a punch along one edge and my CM wavy trimmer to cut it into 3 pieces.  I also cut the chipboard into 3 pieces.  Adding a G45 diamond dark green paper, some very pretty ribbon which I frayed the edges on and some confetti and sequins and the layering requirement is met.

Lastly I added some tiny stickers as titles and the date and I was done.

Just like that, it is May.

Here is a challenge for you scrapbookers. It is ARTastic's inspo painting and you have to use autumn (fall) colours.

Graham Gercken with "Autumn Stroll".

I chose to make this layout due to the colours in my photos.
I've used Kaisercraft Magnolia collection and Simple Life Poppies papers.

An easy challenge this month.  Off you go and craft.

Isn't this stunning?  Challenge is to be inspired by this pic and use brown and cream with ecru lace.

Here is my layout.

I recalled that Kaisercraft had a cardboard patterned paper. Lifesaver.

Off you go. Create something to add to this Archiscraps challenge.
