Make an Aussie Christmas card

UNSTAMPBELLES

The December challenge at Unstampabelles is to make a southern hemisphere Christmas card. I have done just one of them before, a Santa surfing was the theme.

This time I wanted to make a bit more sophisticated one. I'm going to send it to the host family that took care of my son Mark when he went to Japan in October. (I know the family have received it and liked it).

I've used some Creative Memories backing paper, a piece of Kaisercraft postage stamp Christmas paper, both of which I have inked around the edges of with red ink, some sparkly red glitter tape and a Christmas sticker for the sentiment. The feature is the gum nut and leaves which I have cut out freehand and embellished with pens.

  1. Great card Dale. I guess the gum nut is a local tree??? Don't know it. We don't have it here in Cyprus or had it in the UK where I used to live. I can't think why the entries are slow this monthat Unstampabelles. ...wish folks would join in.....it's a great challenge blog. I hope you have a lovely Christmas.....won't be long now. Wynn xxx
