Today is St Patrick's Day. I decided to make a card so I thought I'd make a green one. I'm also wearing green. I'm not Irish, but my surname is!
Here is my card.
I got a pack of the base cardstock at Officeworks this week for $1. It had 25 pieces. Bargain.
I chose to use an offcut piece of white cardstock that I had painted with a variety of green paints. I wanted it to have a border. I've used a Martha Stewart punch to achieve that.
Do you remember the company K&Co? I used to really like their stuff. That leaf die-cut is one of theirs.
This is for this month's Stick It Down sketch challenge.
Such a pretty card. I love your green "washed" paper and sentiment. Your flourish and flowers are lovely additions. Thank you for joining Stick It Down--Sharon DT

ReplyDeletePerfect card for St. Patrick's Day! I'm not irish either but my late mother in law always claimed to have a little Irish blood in her. Bless her soul.
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along with our card sketch this month at Stick It Down!
I love bargains too like that. I love the swirl accent you used.
