A Disney titled scrapbook layout

Welcome to my post to show my Design Team take on this month's challenge at Unstampabelles.

#101: Magic TWIST use a Disney Film Title as your other theme

TWIST : take a Disney Film Title and create around that, naming it in your journalling

I have chosen the 1985 film "Return to Oz".  You may know that Oz is a nickname for Australia, where I live.

My layout is centred on a photo of my sons on the plane on our return flight from Hong Kong. We had a magical family holiday there. We all remember it fondly.

This is the last page in my Hong Kong album. We did of course visit Disneyland whilst we were there.

You can choose any Disney film title you like.

Remember, no stamping.

Cheers,

Dale x

Disney, Family Fun for CSI S365-5

CSI's latest special Scrap 365 file case is a nice, bright one. The colour's screamed Disney to me.
I have treated the scene image like a sketch. I replicated the star pattern with the Mickey head on it from the ferris wheel in my photos and used some pens and sequins to highlight the points of the stars.
From the evidence I have stripes, string and tied something. From the testimony I put a ring around my journalling and used the inspiration word fun.
Thanks for looking.

Disney - PL for Mag Monday

For this week's (week 24) magazine cover at Papercrafter's Corner I really couldn't go past a Disney page. Here is the cover:

Papercrafting Inspiration: Magazine Mondays - Week 24 Inspiration Piece (image)

Cute huh?  I chose to use the spots and I've got a Mickey on my page. This is a project life style of page.

Thanks for looking.

Disney layouts for Archi-Scraps

FAIRYTALES

The first of the month is always an exciting time in scrapbooking cyber land where we scrappers can look through all the new challenges that are up for the month.

The next challenge for Archi-Scraps is #9 and it is a fun one. The theme is fairytales and you can draw inspiration from this fun little house.

I have offered up two different layouts in my Designer role this month.

First we have a 12x12 page using a photo of the Disneyland Fairy Castle in Hong Kong. This trip was the first time for our kids to visit Disneyland and we really did have a magical day. I was a little disappointed that there was no dragon under the castle.  I have used the pastel blue and pink colours of the castle as inspiration to make my page.

The second page is done in an 11x14 Disney slip in album that Creative Memories make. Each page has 5 slip in pockets and a tiny one for a heading. So it's like making 5 mini pages on one. I've used 2x3" photos. This page is of the Beauty and the Beast show at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando.

This page was made with Creative Memories products.

Go to Archiscraps to see what the other Designers have created.

Your layout is due by the end of the month and the Mr Linky will go up shortly. Happy creating.

Disney on Parade

The Scrapbook Circle have a new blog and are now doing challenges. This fortnight it is fussy cutting. I have created this two page spread on Disney. Who doesn't love Disney? I know I do. This is the Hong Kong Disneyland. There is a lot of cutting here. I've also paper pieced a little dwarf (one of the seven). Isn't he cute? Here are both pages separately.
