I've noticed this pocket letter/page craze happening for a while now. I've always thought that it would be fun to make one.
June's challenge at Unstampabelles is to make one or make a gift holder. The twist is to include a crown.
I started out by deciding to use pink and green as my main colours. I collected lots of items that were these colours and selected a few sheets of complementary papers as well. I already had the trading card sleeve to put them in as I keep my ATCs in them.
For the letter portion I made a kind of envelope using my WRMK envelope maker. I had a pretty butterfly clothing label which I added two paper circles to with some embroidery thread as the closure. I used a small tag to write on (from Kaisercraft).
This is the finished product. I am quite pleased with it.
I hope you will consider joining in this month's challenge. Remember not to use any stamps on your entry in order to be in the running for this prize.

Oh how lovely! Aren't these fun to make?? Really like how you've made the letter.
ReplyDeleteThat is just darling - well done, you!
ReplyDeleteYour letter portion of the pocket is a neat idea. I have only made one of these before but it was fun to do. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteGreat pocket letter - love the colours and the butterfly ( and the recycling) and all the little touches.
