Hooray

Just returned from the Interschool sports day 2. Damon's 6/7 boys' team came first in their leaderball comp. Very proud Mamma.

Chutney Mary's

Dinner with my friend Lorraine tonight. Her late birthday present to me. She was taking me to see Buddy the musical but it got cancelled. We'll have a nice evening nonetheless.

Lasagne

My lasagne was delicious. Will have to have it again for dinner tonight.
Lovely day here. My pool is now swimworthy so I'm sure my boys will want to jump in it asap.

BPS School Fete

Booragoon Primary School is having a fete on 7 November from 2pm til late.

I've been delivering pamphlets advertising this fact this morning but still have more to do another time.

I've volunteered to make 2 large lasagnes. I'm making one today just to practise, not that I need it as I make a mean lasagne, very traditional. I'm just looking forward to being able to eat some of it. ooooh, it's beeping now so better go.

Retail Therapy

Yes, like many other women out there I solved my disappointment of yesterday with some retail therapy. Plus, I love a great bargain and there are lots of sales out there right now.

I got a pair of black suede sandals for just $25 ($100 originally). I bought a Charm dress for $42 ($199 originally). I also bought a white mesh shrug for which I paid full price but that is the item I was searching for in the first place so feel happy I got one. They were thin on the ground people.

Disappointment

I can't help but feel very disappointed that I didn't make the short list for SBM's Masters Competition. I'm sure it will wear off but right now I feel gutted.

Rocket Boy

This is a layout for Anna's Craft Cupboards' October sketch challenge. It is of my adorable son Mark when he was 3 1/2. He's now 9 so it was nice to pull out this old photo of him to play with. I like the result.
